Frequently Asked Questions
Twitter's t.co shortener uses JavaScript redirects that simple expanders can't follow. Our tool detects HTTP redirects, meta refresh tags, AND JavaScript-based redirects to successfully expand all t.co links and modern shorteners.
We use multiple shortening services with automatic fallback — TinyURL, Is.gd, Os.db, and others. If one fails, we automatically try the next to ensure your URL gets shortened.
Three types: HTTP redirects (301, 302, 303, 307, 308), meta refresh redirects, and JavaScript-based redirects (window.location, document.location, location.replace, etc.).
Up to 15 consecutive redirects, covering virtually all legitimate URL shorteners and most redirect chains. We also include protection against redirect loops.
